Description

A quick and flavorful Bok Choy Stir Fry Recipe made with garlic, chili, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. This dish is crisp, aromatic, and perfect as a side or light main meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 200 g baby bok choy, trimmed, rinsed, and sliced in halves or quarters
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 0.5 Thai Jinda chili, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium high heat and add the oil.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sliced Thai chili. Stir fry for about 20 seconds until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add the bok choy, oyster sauce, and light soy sauce. Stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes until the stems are tender crisp and the leaves are wilted.
  4. Remove from heat and serve immediately as a side dish or light main.

Notes

  • Dry the bok choy thoroughly after washing to avoid steaming instead of stir frying.
  • Adjust chili quantity based on your preferred spice level.
  • Regular bok choy can be used but may require slightly longer cooking time.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
