Description

Soft and chewy colorful dumplings served in creamy sweet coconut milk, a comforting and simple dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • a few drops food coloring

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.
  2. Mix glutinous rice flour with water to form a smooth dough.
  3. Divide dough and add food coloring, then roll into small balls.
  4. Drop dumplings into boiling water and cook until they float.
  5. Heat coconut milk with sugar until dissolved.
  6. Combine cooked dumplings with coconut milk.
  7. Serve warm or chilled.
