Description

Soft, fluffy jasmine rice cooked in creamy coconut milk with a subtle sweetness and delicate aroma, perfect as a side or base for many meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons toasted coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Add rice, coconut milk, water, salt, and sugar to a saucepan.
  3. Stir gently and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork.
  7. Garnish with green onions and toasted coconut flakes, then serve.

Notes
