Description

Crunchy and nutty Coconut Sesame Granola perfect for breakfast or snacking, combining toasted oats, coconut flakes, sesame seeds, nuts, and dried fruits for a deliciously layered texture and flavor.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup mixed nuts, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, nuts, sesame seeds, coconut flakes, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Pour over dry ingredients and stir until coated.
  4. Spread granola evenly on the prepared baking sheet, keeping clusters roughly the same size.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
  7. Add dried fruits after cooling. Serve or store in an airtight container.
