Description

A refreshing homemade iced lemon tea made with brewed black tea, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for hot days and easy to prepare in minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 to 6 lemon slices
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 to 6 fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or saucepan.
  2. Place the tea bags into a heatproof pitcher and pour the hot water over them.
  3. Allow the tea to steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
  5. Add the fresh lemon juice and mix gently.
  6. Allow the tea to cool slightly.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice.
  8. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves before serving.
