Description

A tropical dessert made with sticky rice and coconut milk, served with fresh mango slices and sesame seeds.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 large mangoes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak the glutinous rice for 1 hour.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. Cook the rice in a steamer for 30-40 minutes until soft and sticky.
  4. Mix the cooked rice with the coconut milk mixture.
  5. Let the rice sit for 10 minutes.
  6. Slice the mangoes and arrange next to the rice.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
