Description

A comforting and flavorful Thai-inspired noodle soup with tender beef, aromatic broth, and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 300 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams rice noodles
  • 1.5 liters beef broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot to medium heat.
  2. Add broth, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and fish sauce, then simmer.
  3. Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  4. Place noodles in bowls and arrange raw beef slices on top.
  5. Pour hot broth over beef to cook it.
  6. Add bean sprouts, herbs, and green onions.
  7. Finish with lime juice and chili flakes, then serve.
