Description

Crispy golden Thai-style fried chicken with a juicy interior and flavorful coating.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thighs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium high heat.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Whisk eggs with water in another bowl.
  4. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat with dry mixture.
  5. Fry until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot.
