- 500 grams chicken thighs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium high heat.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs with water in another bowl.
- Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat with dry mixture.
- Fry until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot.

- Let coated chicken rest before frying for better texture
- Do not overcrowd the pan
