Description

A flavorful and comforting Thai fried rice made with tender chicken, fluffy jasmine rice, and vibrant vegetables, all stir-fried to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup diced chicken breast
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large pan over medium high heat.
  2. Add oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chicken and cook until fully done.
  4. Push chicken aside and scramble the eggs in the same pan.
  5. Add carrots and peas, then stir fry briefly.
  6. Add cooked rice and mix everything together.
  7. Pour in soy sauce and fish sauce, stir well to coat.
  8. Finish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use day old rice for best texture
  • Cook on high heat for better flavor
  • Adjust seasoning to taste
