Description

A creamy and customizable Thai Rolled Ice Cream recipe made with a rich base and frozen on a cold surface, then rolled into beautiful curls and topped with your favorite mix-ins.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: Oreo, cocoa powder, nuts, cookie dough
  • Optional toppings: fruit, candy, whipped cream, sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and pinch of salt until fully combined.
  2. Pour the mixture onto a metal tray or sheet pan in a thin, even layer about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Add your choice of mix-ins and gently incorporate them into the base using a spatula.
  4. Freeze the tray for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
  5. Once frozen, cut the ice cream into strips about 3 inches wide using a flat metal scraper.
  6. Carefully roll each strip into curls and transfer them into chilled bowls.
  7. Top with your choice of fruit, candy, whipped cream, or sprinkles.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.
