Description

Crispy, juicy, and bursting with bold Thai flavors, these Zingy & Spicy Thai Wings are perfect for snacking, parties, or game day treats


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, trimmed and washed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • A small bunch of cilantro, chopped, for garnish
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix garlic, ginger, red chili powder, paprika, fish sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar.
  3. Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until fully coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour for best flavor.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the wings in small batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Drain fried wings on paper towels and toss with remaining marinade mixture if desired.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
