- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- A small bunch of cilantro, chopped, for garnish
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix garlic, ginger, red chili powder, paprika, fish sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar.
- Toss the chicken wings in the marinade until fully coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour for best flavor.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the wings in small batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Drain fried wings on paper towels and toss with remaining marinade mixture if desired.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
