Description

A creamy ceremonial grade matcha coconut cream latte made with vibrant matcha, silky coconut milk, fluffy coconut cream, and a touch of maple syrup for a cozy cafe-style drink at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon toasted coconut flakes
  • 1 small fresh mint sprig

Instructions

  1. Warm your mug with hot water and set aside.
  2. Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl.
  3. Add hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
  4. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  5. Heat the coconut milk gently until warm and frothy.
  6. Pour the matcha mixture into the mug and slowly add the coconut milk.
  7. Whip the chilled coconut cream until fluffy and spoon it on top.
  8. Garnish with toasted coconut flakes and a mint sprig before serving.

Notes
