- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk, chilled
- 2 tablespoons condensed coconut milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm a small bowl with hot water, then dry it well.
- Add sifted matcha powder and warm water to the bowl.
- Whisk until the matcha is smooth, green, and lightly foamy.
- Add chilled coconut milk, condensed coconut milk, and vanilla extract to a tall glass.
- Stir until the milk base is creamy and fully combined.
- Add ice cubes to the glass.
- Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the back of a spoon to create a layered look.
- Serve immediately while cold and fresh.
Notes
- Sift the matcha before whisking to prevent clumps.
- Use warm water instead of boiling water to avoid bitterness.
- Start with less condensed coconut milk if you prefer a lightly sweet drink.
