- 6 cups low sodium vegetable broth
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Place a medium saucepan over medium heat and warm it for about 1 minute.
- Add olive oil, sliced ginger, smashed garlic, and turmeric. Stir for 30 to 45 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the vegetable broth slowly and stir to blend the turmeric into the liquid.
- Add soy sauce, black pepper, and sea salt. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes so the ginger and garlic can infuse the broth.
- Stir in lemon juice and sliced green onions. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
- Ladle into bowls or mugs and serve hot.
