- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cold water
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 3 cups vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, rice flour, baking powder, salt, sesame seeds, and cold water until smooth.
- Dip each banana slice into the batter, coating evenly.
- Carefully place the coated bananas into the hot oil and fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the fried bananas to a wire rack or paper towel-lined tray.
- Warm the honey and red chili flakes together in a small saucepan for 1 minute.
- Drizzle the hot honey over the fried bananas just before serving.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
