Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons strong brewed Thai tea
  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, brewed Thai tea, whole milk, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  3. Add glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top evenly.
  5. Bake for 38 to 42 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
